Tacky Sweater Wedensday

Today was Tacky Sweater Wednesday for the Roberts staff. Can you believe that these were worn for real serious a while back?!?! Luckily, I have a stash from family members and was able to share with Mrs. Hardin! The kids LOVED our sweaters and kept commenting how pretty they were all day. Ha!

One of our Kinder friends brought some fruit for me, Mrs. Glover, and Mrs. Hardin today. I can honestly say that this was my first apple to receive as a teacher!


Since we've been learning about electricity this month, we had Elizabeth's dad come talk to us from Entergy.


I think the kids really enjoyed getting to learn more about energy and electricity.


They learned about the negative/bad side of wires...


And the positive/good side of wires. Most importantly, they learned not to play with wires!


Today during Library, each child was able to pick out one book to keep thanks to the PTA! Avaleigh was super happy to get to write her name in her book!


Nicholas was happy that he still got to check out a train book as well!


I love watching them read!


These two cuties discovered first thing this morning that they had matching shoes and begged me all day to take a pic...of course at the times that I was teaching though. Ha! So I finally took a pic of them after Library and they insisted I take a pic of their "matching" books too. ;)
