29 days smarter!

What a fun day book character day was!!! Everyone looked so cute!!! I hope you enjoy these pictures to see all of the fun we had!

My neice and Kylie were chosen for most creative costumes in their classrooms. They were pretty clever!
I loved watching them work in their costumes the rest of the day! 


28 days smarter!

Lucy L. helped us learn all about the letter F today. Watching them try to say the sound correctly was pretty cute! They thought of some great words that begin with f too!
We are so lucky that we have custodians at our school that really take care of us an our school!!! Mr. Clark came toy rescue today to take care of a little plumbing issue in the bathroom! 
We've been working on identifying verbs all week. So we practiced writing some verbs today. 
I love how hard they were trying to think about show different groups of 5 during math!

27 days smarter!























We had such a fun time on our field trip!! Before we headed out we went to the library to check out new books. I love that Lucy L found the table of contents in her book!!! I hope you enjoy the pics from today...sorry for the low quality of them! 





















26 days smarter!

We started off by reading out "blue song"for shared readingand finding ?s in the story.Then we continued workingon words that begin with N, so we made necklaces is Ns. They were socite making these!
Our sight word "and"keeps popping up everywhere!
Look at how cute these two were during centers!!! They did such a great job reading to each other!!!
During writing, we talked about what a verb is. We learned even more by going back "in the day" and watching a Schoolhouse Rocks video about verbs!

Then we wrote sentences using verbs. They were rock stars with this task!
I hope you saw your child's bookmark! We finally earned enough pledges to receive our first class prize! Here's the chart to show why else we're working toward.we have a few more days to earn pledges!

25 days smarter!

I started the day off receiving this little happy. So yummy!
I'm so proud of their number recognition these days!
We learned how to sort today by sorting fruits and non-fruits. Way to go!
Mrs. Jenkins came in today and read Elmer to the class. They learned all about  being unique. 
We reviewed numbers 1-4 and learned all about #5 today. They're doing great with their counting! 
We ended the day with listening to meteorologist Greg Dee. We learned a lot about weather and weather safety. We even got to be recorded for the channel 4    sto forecast for next week. Be sure to watch for us next on Ch. 4!
