50th day of school and spelling

This week we learned about the letters Gg and Rr. They did a great job with helping me come up with a list of g words AND sounding them out to spell!
They were pretty excited about the 50th day of school approaching, so we had to take some brain break with Go Noodle this week. Have you tried this website at home yet? They love it!
We wrapped up our writing about bats this week. They knew a lot about this creature!
William was the music rock star this week. Way to go!
We all had a blast celebrating the 50th day of school! They have all grown and learned so much in these quick first 50 days of school! I'm so proud of them!!!
How cute is this little happy that Catherine gave me? It was a witch's boot made out of construction paper filled with Oreos. Thank you!
After the 50th day, we got right back to working hard and practicing spelling more words.
Jack H's grandma came to read to us on Friday. They loved listening to her! Thanks, Ema, for spending time with us!
For PAT (physical activity time that they earn for their hard work), they chose to stay inside and play in my toy kitchen and create things with playdoh. They were all so creative!!!
Lily and Noah were the PE all stars this week. Woohoo!
I couldn't let my team go out trick-or-treating without giving them some fangs! Doesn't MaKayla look fabulous?
