Happy Spring!!!

I was so happy to see all of my sweet Kinders yesterday! It sounds like they all had an awesome breakand they were all so excited to tell me about alloftheir adventures! Lucy L was so excited to tell usabout some tadpoles that she caught. Luckily, her mom had a picture to send us so she could explain what  tadpoles are!
Mrs. Jenkins read this cute book to us and helped us see different objects in pictures of clouds. I love this lesson!

Since it's spring, we're learning all about animals that come out during this time. Check out these amazing bunnies that we drew! I love the talent!
We're focusing on "ot" words this week. They are doing great with thinking of words that rhyme with dot!
I added this cute center this week to help them build their sight words. They are loving unscrambling the eggs and spelling the words! So cute!
We're still focusing on 2D shapes. Today we did a math word problem today about 4 hexagons. I must say that I was super impressed with their early basic multiplication skills!!!
These kids are so awesome!

Another short and snowy week

Well last week was another crazy short week dueto the weather! But I sure did enjoy getting to see everyone's snow pics and they loved getting to talk about them in class!

On Thursday, we had an assembly. We were told it was to receive a reward for our amazing reading scores. However, we were all surprised to find out that it was to present a surprise award called the Miliken award to Mrs. McBride! She is our fabulous EAST facilitator and is such an amazing teacher!!!
Check out this sweet story that Gracie wrote about her friends!
During art, they got to make cards. They were all so cute!
We also finished up our presidents study. Check out all of these four letter words that they made using Washington!
And we had a visit from Dr. cloud to teach us about dental health.
