'Twas the week before Thanksgiving break...

Here are some pics from our week before Thanksgiving break. We had a fun filled week with Kids with Character, music stars, PE MVPS, KInders sharing what they're thankful for, a cute production of "Hats" the musical performed by our 2nd graders, and a fun Thanksgiving feast. I hope you all had a fantastic break! I sure have missed my friends and can't wait to start December with them tomorrow!

LaNiahs's sister, Maddie, joined us for the play. Such a fun visitor!

Our thanksgiving feast in the Dining Room was so fun!

61 days smarter!

Check out all of these blankets that these girls brought today for the blanket drive today!!!
It's hard to see in this pic but Dhruv made a number line at home and was so proud to show it to is today! It was so long that Lawson had to help him hold it!
Kylie was the player of the day based on yesterday's points. Don't forget that the kiddo with the most points from the previous day gets to wear the badge the following day!
We were on the hunt for "ing" words today. Have them sing our "ing" cheer to you!
They even figured out that Thanksgiving has ING in it!
Our GT friend Mrs. Jenkins came today to talk more about using our brain. Then they got to draw in their fish tanks.
We're still focusing in numbers 6-10 but now we'll be talking about all the different ways we can make the numbers. Today we focused on the number 6.

Here are a few more pics from Monday. Gracie's mom AND aunt were our mystery readers. So fun! And some of our favorite books!

Yesterday I was greeted with a portrait of me by Kylie. Looks just like me right?
Christian and Malyn brought more blankets in for the blanket drive!
Jaysen helped us sound out and stretch out words to help us spell them.
Yesterday was ViPS reading day. We had a sweet lady and her granddaughter visit us. What fun stories!
Christian was so proud to share his thankful cornucopia. Great job!
We made a list of things were thankful for,,,I promise I didn't influence Lucy in the last one!
Lucy L. Brought these sweet treats for the security officers today. So sweet!
Lawson  and Rudra did a great job of sharing their thankful cornucopias.

They got to paint their own turkey's today. I love their creativity!!!

We've been focusing on finding "ing" words all week.I loved seeing the light bulbs turn on when I told them to color the I, n, and g inside of Thanksgiving!

During PAT, I told them the story of the first Thanksgiving and we made brackets according to the story. They loved this!

Tomorrow we'll be having our freaky in the dining room so we made Bative American headbands and wrote stories using Native American symbols. So cute!

Then I read a story to talk about how people celebrate Thanksgiving today and talked about how I LOVE to watch the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade. One of my cuties asked me what I was talking about when I said that I love all of the floats, so we got to watch a clip from last years parade. Of course , they all screamed when they all saw Hello Kitty pop up! So fun!
