56 days smarter!

I enjoyed hearing all about everyone's weekend happening! Dhruv was so excited to show off his cool new bat jacket! We all loved it of course!!!!

Although the kids had a long weekend, they came right back to school ready to work! I mean check out LaNiah had at work during reading groups! I'm so proud of their hard work!!!

These cuties were so funny during centers and worked so hard on unscrambling sentences! I wish I would've captured their reaction on video once they finally unscrambled all if the sentences correctly! 

Mrs. Jenkins came to talk to us about the brain again and about how things are often not as they look. She read these two cute books to get them to use their creative noggins. 

Then they had to draw droodles (creating something new out of a small design like a squiggly line or a dot). They were so creative! 

Since Thanksgiving is just around the corner, we had to start talking about turkeys. So we kicked off our turkey talk by making these adorable turkeys! Their motor skills have improved soooo much! I didn't have to help one kid trace a shape, cut out a shape, or give them extra supplies because they messed up! So I guess I should add that their listening skills have grown so much too!!!

Check out this mess! I love it because it means that they're hard at work!
