Reindeer, reindeer meet Crystal!

This morning we got to meet Crystal the baby grasshopper that Alexee found at her grandparents house this past weekend. I have to be honest, I'm not much of a bug/insect person, but this tiny little grasshopper was kind of cute! And it was really cute to see my cute little Kinder's faces looking at Crystal!








This week we will be learning about the letter H. Mr. Justin did a great job of helping us sort through our new letter along with some other letters.


During writing today, we talked about what should get a capital letter. We're also studying reindeer (one of my favorite animals!) this week. So we read through our reindeer book to find some capital letters. I love how hard Zachary was focusing! I wish you could hear him when he's writing...he takes the sounding out your words stuff serious! ;)


At the end of the reindeer book, they had to show themselves waiting for Santa. This was a great time to talk about our new word "you" and talk about capitalizing your name. Didn't John do a great job of drawing himself?


My little buddy, Nolan, earned the Music Super Star award today. Can you tell how super excited he was?
