Clownin' around

I hope that everyone enjoyed their time with their kids over the break. Although the kids were off, us teachers still had to work on Friday. We attended a Science meeting all day with other K and 1st grade teachers.


We got to learn about the force of motion by playing with bouncy balls and race cars. Im pretty sure that Mrs. Hardin's son and mine would be totally jealous!


Not only do we think alike, we dress alike too! Don't we look cute with our complimentary polka dots?


This week we are learning about the CL and FL blends. Today we focused in the CL blend. They had to draw a clown by listening to my directions. I think they turned out pretty cute!


The next few pix were taken from my phone and can't turn...sorry!


After they drew their picture, they had to unscramble the sentence "I see a funny clown!" and glue it in the right order.



During PE, they had to jump rope. These cuties below we're able to jump rope 10 times without messing up! I'm pretty sure that I've never been coordinated enough to do one jump rope! Ha!


And these cuties were the All Stars today. Way to go!


Don't forget that the Roberts Rendezvous is THIS Saturday! Theres going to be some great items (including artwork by our class and an outing with me and maybe your child). I hope to see you there...6:30 @ the Greek Orthodox Church!
