We're busy writing!

I introduced my Writing Station today and the kids LOVED it! But what kid doesn't like to play with playdoh at school? I so wish that I had the camera on me when I was teaching them how to use the playdoh letter mats. It was like I was doing a magic trick! After I made the letter "a", they all genuinely clapped like I just walked on a tight rope across the Niagra Falls. I love Kinders for this reason!

Emilio was hard at work making his "m" with playdoh.

Rachel had fun practicing her "M's" with my stationary.

I had to share some pics of the other kids during center time, too.

Zachary and Aubriana were working hard on some alphabet and matching puzzles.

Justin and Wes did a great job during Read to Self time!

Adam wanted to make sure he had a quiet area so he wouldn't get interrupted during Read to Self time.

Nicholas, Aaron, and Chloe were concentrating hard on Starfall.com. You can download the Starfall app or let your kids play on www.Starfall.com at home. They love it!

While these guys were working on my desktop computers, Carrie was working on my iPad. I've downloaded some fun literacy and math games for my own kiddos that I wanted to share them with the class. The iPad is a FABULOUS learning tool!
