We had a great day back from a looong weekend! I gave them a little extra time to chit chat about their trick-or-treating and weekend. Lilly showed us a $2 bill that she got with her daddy this past weekend.
Then Cash (and everyone else) estimated how much candy they got from Halloween night. I heard anywhere from 15 pieces to 1001 pieces! For the parents, I hope they were closer ton15 pieces! :)
We learned about the letter d today and brainstormed words with d at the beginning and end of words.
Maya did an awesome job with really sounding out her words!!!
Mrs. Jenkins came in and read this book today. They looked at some pics of clouds and discussed what they looked like. Then they made their "cloud pictures".
We had a flu clinic today. These were some of the brave kiddos that either got the mist or shot. I even decided to get it even though I despise needles!!!
In math, we learned about the number 6. We talked about what the tally mark, domino, dice, and ten frame would look like. Then we used counters to show different ways to make six.
We had a great day!
