Mr. Rasikh was the king yesterday. He was a great leader for day and we enjoyed getting to learn more about him!
Did you know that I have a friend named Mimi Mouse? She helped us learn what makes the mmmm sound and how to write the letter Mm. They did a great job helping me spy m all over the place!
I passed out markers and markerboards to let them practice writing the letter m. They had so much fun!
We started learning sight words this week. Yesterday we started with "I". You can help them with identifying sight words in their reading books at home too!
During writing, we worked on our listening skills by drawing a house according to directions in a poem. Later this week we'll work in labeling our pictures!
In math, we started learning about numbers and how to write them. Please work on writing the numbers at home with them!
Mr. Radiskh was the Music star yesterday too. Way to go!!!
Today, Miss Mariana was our queen and helped us with our Chit Chat.
We learned that she pretty much loves all things princes and that she LOVES to draw! She even showed us her American Girl princess doll and dew some princesses for us!
We are learning about the color orange this week and learning how to spell it. During shared reading, the kiddos helped me find some capital letters.
We worked on highlighting the letter m in a poem today. They did great with highlighting!
On Wednesdays we get to have "PAT" time (physical activity time) for good behavior. Please encourage your kiddos to follow the rules of all adults at school throughout the week!
