What does the fox say, all about pumpkins, and math!

This week during trading we focused on how people verse animals communicate so it's only fitting to start our week out with the division of what does a fox say! They loved it!
In math, they caught onto comparing numbers.
They're doing great with identifying the beginning sounds of words now!
We worked on using description words so we described pumpkins. Check out how Catherine stretched out "smooth" because she knew it sounded like Boo at the Zoo!
They are having fun using our math journals to solve their word problems! MaKayla did great with this apple problem!
We worked on writing sentences about pumpkins later in the week.
Then we discussed the life cycle of a pumpkin and learned that the word "seed" has our sight word "see" inside of it! And we got to paint the life cycle!
Daniel earned this shirt from the Book It kickoff! Please encourage your kiddos to read and earn those pledges!
