Sequencing, picture day, tornado drill, and hats!

We had a busy week at school! Kason started us off for the week by being the flag holder on Monday.
Then we had a practice tornado drill as soon as we went into the class. I love these dramatic faces!
Then we went to library and learned how to check out books and learned other important skills in the library.
Tuesday was picture day. I loved seeing everyone so dressed up!
We worked on adding details in our journals and made sure we used verbs. Daniel did a great job!
We focused on sequence of events this past week, so we practice retelling stories in the correct order.
Daniel was our music Rock Star this week. Woohoo!
We're starting to decorate our flex space for the fall carnival so Mrs. Glover helped our kids make pumpkins. They did a great job!
Pis was also chosen as a flag holder this week. So fun!
We've been practicing sounding out words and writing the letters that we hear in that word. I love this word that Maddie and Jaydin wrote!
I introduced the paint center this week. Hey loved getting to paint apples and label them!
William, Abby, and Khamari concentrated hard on their sight words!
Daniel and Noah did a great job putting a apple story together.
Later in the week, we worked on sequencing events. They loved being able to tell me how to do things!
They went to art in Thursday and made snakes. So cute!
MaKayla and Gracie begged me to take a selfie with them....so I did. 😃
On Friday, Mrs. Jenkins came to talk about all the different hats we wear. Such great visuals!
