Day 123

It was someone's birthday today but I sure couldn't tell with the 3 bday stickers, the bday shirt, postcard, bracelet, and sweet Mariana's big smile this morning! Ha! She's been talking about it for two weeks now!


We finished hearing the rest of the leprechaun stories today. They were pretty cute!











We worked more on blends. Aaden did a great job with helping us read our new BR words and blends chart!


We did a review on the short u sound.





Way to go GREEN Team Dees!!! My class won the Waste Free Lunch contest amongst the ENTIRE school!!! So not only did Max win a cool lunchbox, I did too! That was a fun surprise I wasn't expecting!


We finished up reading our De. Seuss books by watching or just listening to some being read aloud by various celebrities. Did you know that football players like Tim Tebow can read? They thought that was cool to see a football player read.


These cool cats earned the Eagles of Excellence award for this nine weeks, so they receive these fun tattoos!
