Happy New Year!!!

I hope that you all had a fabulous break! It sounds like you all did by listening to everyone's stories all day. We had a great time this morning getting to share our snow stories and loss of power stories...we even tied that into our Reading/What is Science lesson...score! I was busy trying to finish up report card assessments for some kiddos, so i didn't get too many pics today, but here are just a few.


We are learning about the letter Uu and will be learning about the -uh word family this week. Miss Chloe did a great job with helping us figure out what sounds the u makes.


The first day back to school plus indoor recess due to rain=lots of energy that needs to be released! Thank goodness for brain break videos on You Tube!!!


Justin and Emilio had too much fun dancing during our brain break. :)


We slowly got our brains working again for math thinking by practicing writing larger numbers. You can do this at home by saying a number and having them correctly write it.
