Wow! I'm so proud of Team Dees for doing such a great job on the Benchmark test! They all worked soooooo hard during this week while testing as well as the week before when we got ready for it!!! We kicked off the Benchmark Test with Camp ACTAAP.

| We had Eagle Scouts visit us to give us pointers about camping and nature. |

| No camp-time would be complete without S'Mores. The funny thing, though, was that the chocolate melted due to the heat and the marshmellows didn't. Either way, it was all still delicious! |
Then we let the kids be kids that afternoon and get out all of their energy. It was fun to watch my kids interact outside of the classroom. I love how they all play with each other!
After they got all warm and toasty, we met the 4th and 5th graders in the Gym for a Benchmark Pep Rally. We made "rain" with our hands, watched the cheerleaders, and had a special performance by our own rock band! ;)
